These performances from spring of 2017 feature a unique method of performing drum parts using sonic charge Microtonic. The drum parts were broken up into pieces ranging from a quarter bar to a bar, and then selected with an array of switches. The time base for drum parts was selectable between a value of half time, half time triplets, regular time, and regular time triplets. This allowed for fluidly performable drum parts with minimal effort, so that I could maintain focus on playing the modular synth and ableton live's looper.
